Coats for Kids Fall 2022 Drive
The St. Mark's Knights of Columbus is holding its annual Coats for Kids fundraising drive to purchase and distribute coats to needy children in the Stouffville area. Our goal is $2000.00 to cover the costs.
A warm coat will go a long way in putting smiles on the faces of kids whose families are struggling in these difficult times.
Since 2009, the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program has distributed over 500,000 coats across North America. With your help we can spread the warmth to children in the Stouffville area.

Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.
St. Mark Council 10874 was founded on May 1, 1992. Since then, we have been working to carry out our mission to serve local charities and the Catholic Church.
Since 1882, membership in the Knights of Columbus has been open to men 18 years of age or older who are "practical" (that is, practicing) Catholics in union with the Holy See. Since that time, the Knights of Columbus has understood "practical catholic" to mean a Catholic who accepts the teaching authority of the Catholic Church on matters of faith and morals, aspires to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church, and is in good standing in the Catholic Church.
